Just discovered the wonderful desserts served in Tropical Climate Singapore...

Just look at these ice cold tasty and thirst quenching cold desserts for a hot sunny day.

Oh, and I'm suprised they have such a wonderful website with menu page that showcase their gorgeous desserts.

CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING

CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING
To the majority of persons the flavor ofchocolate is always pleasing.

In chocolate bread pudding, this flavor iswell blended with the ingredients.

This pudding, when baked, may be cutinto slices, and then daintily served with eitherhard or custard sauce.

CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING(Sufficient to Serve Eight)
2 c. stale bread crumbs4 c. milk1 sq. unsweetened chocolate1/2 c. sugar2 eggs1/4 tsp. salt1 tsp. vanilla

Soak the bread crumbs in 3 cupfuls of the milk.

Melt the chocolate in asaucepan and add the sugar and the remaining cup of milk.

Cook until themixture is smooth and add this to the bread and milk.

Beat the eggs andadd them. Add the salt and vanilla.

Pour into a buttered baking dish andbake for about 45 minutes in a moderate oven.

Cut into slices and servewith hard or custard sauce.
